Salary is good and on time .that's it.

Orthodox culture. There is a lot of politics.though the vision is to be toppest bank of India the reality is they don't want to go outside Kerala. Probation period of 1Year and review every quarter. Position is given based on previous company salary not on the designation or overall experience. Also multi department report.Appraiser from one department and reviews frm another .

...traveling allowance for additional cost incurred while traveling under lockdown. We were allowed to work on rotational basis and were given additional pay for everyday branch attended during Covid.

Federal bank pays a very good package with comparison to other Banks. Very good scope for learning and development.

Dislikes

With high level of job security, performance of some staff is abysmal. It discourages performers to perform as performers are only given recognition, no monetary benefits.

... consideration for posting based on personal issues. Opportunities for learning. Salary is at par with nationalised banks. Offers good job security.

The promotion process is subject to bias. Hands on training for new recruits can be improved.
