Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The infrastructure of the work place is alright.

Dislikes

.... Extreme toxic work culture is promoted. The place is unsafe for women as well. One gets their salary nearly two weeks after the month. You have to beg to even clear the outstanding payments. Even though the working hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 07:30 p.m., employees are exploited to work at odd hours and no overtime is paid.

I joined Falcon Legal in Nov 2019. Its been a journey of almost 1 1/2 years have learn a lot from this firm. Free hand to take decisions and work on your cases with your own skill and development. Very safe work culture. People here are very good and friendly. I love the fact I am part of a team that markets reliable, high quality standards and quick response to clients at a reasonable costs. Falcon provides the quick solutions to any of the cases with urgency and positive results. Entire Team in Falcon is reliable, hardworking, knowledgeable and adaptable in nature.

Dislikes

Seniors have to little firm and proper timelines and follow ups to be maintained.
