There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. On the job training is not given to new joinees.

...rtive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year. Last but not least, my team mates are such a wonderful persons.

It is great experience with executive ship management. It is my parent company where i have improved my skills and knowledge, job security, work culture, company policies and management is upto the mark in executive ship management.

Dislikes

Due to high competition, salary of experienced operation level engineers is limited and career growth is slow. Contract days for working onboard is higher, limited shore leaves.

When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA.
