New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

The company is now paying best packages comparing to me when I was working. I was very happy Working at EXCELL MEDIA. I've learned so many technical topics and problem solving ways. Collegues who were working with me were very supportive and sportive.and I also like the employee re-hire policy.

Dislikes

Package was low. Support from head office was slow (when I was working). Some Times we have to take care of some situations at any time like day and night doesnt matter of support. Your hard work might go unnoticed some time.

I had worked for 3 more MNCs in previous years but I'm very much satisfied in this EXCELL MEDIA... Comparatively very small organisation than previous companies but there is no happy at work atmosphere that can be found here...well organised company

Dislikes

Terrible team and management, personal agendas of employees throws of the professionalism in office environment, personal influences works on management irrespective to work and dedication for the organization, 12 hrs of shift for office support employees with no benifits at all.
