Adas was the best company. I joined as ramp agent .promoted to supervisor and then promoted shift duty officer and operation officer I joined in the year may 2000 that time there was only few flights and gulf air was the hub.we joined weight and balance ..load control we learn many things in regards to run daily operation requirements and we started working as professional team's Our bosses were uae national..qualified pepole giving lot of respect..we use to manipulate with equipment's during busy time.. When etihad started and started absorbing all ground handling like ramp.cargo.catering we were told that nothing will change..but slowly they started bringing duty managers and ramp operation manager who were not expert and professional to control abudhabi as a hub or they were not worked at any hub or transit station. They must have worked for 1 airline or a small operation .resulting in big problem at abudhabi airport we were asked to sit in one corner ..and they started working as in charge the entire airport operation came up's and down..we were also calm as our responsibility had become less just come at airport and go..but we were quite upset as entire airport standard had gone down.
