... time and pass on the messages from upper management to team members. That's it. For this work they are paid huge salary and the engineers who do the whole delivery for the customer, they are left to justify for each and every goal that is fabricated by managers.
I really like the culture of Ericsson. There is job security. Most of all you don't have to be stuck at single project, if you have the potential and capability to grow you can get into any project. There is constant feedback taken from your managers and peers.
There is no likely process for promotions and salary growth.

Salary comes on time.
Dislikes
Managers can easily bypass company policy as their needs.
No work life balance.
Need work on holidays also, no benefit for working overtime or on weekends or holidays.
No growth pros
Nothing in particular except the pay hikes they offer to the existing employees, they hire lesser experienced outsiders with more pay but nothing much for existing employees
Not all people get good salary hike. If you are in Networking then it would be difficult for you to switch companies.
Company not willing to pay more to the existing employees. Hard to change your project or domain.
