New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Review…is something takes lot of evaluation of organization. Specifically when one has been associated for more than 6 years on certain position and handled lot many things in organization. Ergodot worklife designs, office premises is like dream come true. The person who is owning this organization(ceo) has blind trust on the ground level Manager But that’s is the only positive. It’s not system driven “showroom”. Manipulation in job profile is the first red flag. Multitasking is on level from unloading boxes to sale the product. On the name value addition you can be asked to do anything and every thing. “Culture” of the showroom is different for every person because by seeing individuals thought process culture is portrayed. Actually consider boss is always right despite of he is not even aware of what is right rest if you don’t follow be ready to lose your job. “politics” is something which is you need to face from day 1 till you are being fired. “timing” expected to punch in time but punch out is something if you do on time understand as red flag. Because there is no direct involvement CEO ended up losing so many good employees just based on bias reviews given by manager , there is no measurable tools or report for one’s performance. In a nutshell, career and personal life both needs to be put up on stake if you wish to work here. Rule 1 and 2 remains same boss is always right. And if word against it be ready for mental harassment and extreme levels of insult. One need to be superstrong mentally to work here. And understand every angle of furniture and brain. *Ps: reviews are based on real time experience.
