Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Shit work life balance, sometimes you'll need to work 6 AM to 2 AM You'll not receive salary on time Your reimbursement will never happen, so never spend anything for company from your salary, oh wait, salary? what is that? Director will call you even in your worst time, leave, midnight, anytime just to make you work, it's upto you how you deal with these things
