The list is long and endless..to start with perhaps one have some bad deeds/karmas in their previous life or this one, & then they joined this Company..big mistake..!! Basically that is God's way of saying you deserve this punishment and torture..!!
Toxic Work Culture - This hell is ruled by a certain Doctor (Managing Dir.) - arrogant, sadistic, ruthless, corrupt & a bigtime show-off. He thinks he is the smartest person in the whole world but actually he is a dumb joker. The Dr. Wears many hats though - he is a Contracts Specialist, Architect, Buyer, Legal Expert, Finance Guru, Graphics Designer, Team Lead, Sales Guy, Marketing Wizard, HR person etc. all rolled into one! Basically always trying to prove superiority over others, intervenes & disrupts everywhere. Also demean & insult anybody without reason, launch personal attacks, & likes to fire people at whims and fancies. Every documents needs to be signed by him for approval- right from vouchers, proposals, cost sheets, contracts, purchase & work orders..& what not..!! Forces employees to wait till late hours for his sign and approvals and despise people who leaves office on time. Trusts no body and looks everyone with suspicion. Has eyes and informers everywhere. Also make junior engineers and staffs do personal house hold works in office time..!!
HR - basically a puppet under the Evil Doctor. Has no say at any employee grievances, works as per his mood. Horrible policies with no Sick leave or Casual leave. Will cut down the whole day attendance even if you are late by a minute. Daily attendance is checked and reason of late coming needs to be given..!! If you are absent for a day management assumes you have gone to give job interviews..! Worst attrition rate among all the real estate companies.
Project Head - A laughing stock all over the City. Only talks and zero planning. Passes blame on juniors for project delays and threatens everyone.
Finance Head - Gets angry and infuriated at drop of a hat..and starts stammering after that. Zero people skills. Favour boot lickers and ignore hard working staffs.
Office Environment - Worst. Crammed office space with no barriers and privacy. No canteen facility, and one have to eat at own workspace. Big Glass cabins for seniors and management while rest are crammed in a limited space. Loud chaotic environment with pre-sales team shouting, cursing, and creating nuisance everyday. Head Office is full of Delhi lobby (employees who joined from Delhi, NCR , Gurgaon region) who berates Kolkata and its rich culture.
The Main gate gets locked both from outside and inside once the office hours begin. That means even if you want to go out and smoke you need to face punch (bio-metric) for opening the glass gate. The management tracks every movement of employees and reprimands them if they are outside.
Fighting among sub-ordinates, junior staffs is a common sight everyday with open verbal slangs and threats. Many old employees avoid work and are mostly busy in share market trading. No professionalism among most of the employees.
Please avoid this company as it only has a big brand name associated with it and nothing else.
