No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

Dislikes

Management is worst. I was working in SEO team, but content was written by UI designer, I mean why? I have suggested content that can actually work but the UI designer ignore. I was properply doing my work , then suddenly I got a mail from HR that I am not communiating enough with people. I was there for work not for friendship. I had meet with my team everyday , with developer every friday for changes in website and so on. I asked them a question why should i connect with other department. New higher rank person join name Dane or something, he was like fire him, fire her just because they don't communicate with other team. HR was also not supportive , she knew I was working and doing for what I was hired . Don't every join this compnay

Nothing. The Manager and Teams mates are not good with working with them. They do partiality to Indian employees.

Dislikes

Manager is very rude. There is no proper systems to work. Big bugs in systems. No payments to driver.
