I was getting 15.2 LPA in my previous org and now i am being offered 29.5 LPA but the designation is 1 position lower than what i was in my previous org. Should i go ahead with the offer or still negotiate on designation. Protip : i was laid off in my previous org.

NO INCREMENTS FALSE PROMISES ABOUT SALARY HIKE AND PROMOTIONS APPRISAL DONE FOR NAME SAKE NO INDEMINITY CONTINOUS 36HOURS DUTY WHEN YOU ARE ON EMERGENCY CALL. NORMAL 8 HRS DUTY+16 HOURS ON-CALL+8 HOURS DUTY NEXT DAY. THIS IS WORST, AND BE INFORMED THAT YOU ARE DOING HIGH RISK JOB OF HIGH VOLTAGE SWITCHING.

Dislikes

Overdependence on consultants which leads to not relying on own staff and derogatory for their development. Very of the JD requires real responsibility. It is up to you to review techinical & financial submissions or nothing at all. Even though expert in-house staff are present , their views matter little as long as they toe in line with business minded "Consultants" who are paid by to do work and their pay depends to them getting their contracts stretched and getting even more new ones.
