...d company gadget(laptop) but you do not have any burden to carry those with you. It's a competitive compensation structure with extra perks as well. You talk to any Durian, and they will say that people are collaborative and inclusive here in our culture.

Dislikes are subjective so one review cannot really define it. You ultimately work and pave your path in every place you work. That's all.

1) As a designer it was challenging to work under the marketing team manager and HOD. Their inadequate knowledge in design and video editing led to lack of understanding & cooperation. Attempts to discuss realistic deadlines were dismissed with remarks like. "If I can create videos in 4 hours, so can you", making the creative process hectic & unappreciated. 2) Excessive micromanagement and miscommunication from the Marketing Manager not only disrupted the creative process but also made it challenging to meet the already unrealistic deadlines. 3) Pretentious manager who acts friendly and supportive, but will pressurize and berate you, your skills & your experience during one on one work related meetings 5) Very few national holidays. 6) There were delays in processing appointment letter (In my case I had to wait for 1 month after joining), with only a basic letter of intent provided initially. The appointment letter lacked clarity on key policies, such as resignation during notice period and WFH policies. These information are only provided during HR Induction but they are not properly documented which the employees can sign before joining.

There appears to be a significant lack of empathy and effective leadership, as employees frequently feel their contributions are not acknowledged or appreciated. The owner’s decision-making process seems heavily influenced by external opinions, which undermines confidence in his ability to lead with a clear, strategic vision. The overall management style lacks professionalism and fails to foster a culture of respect or trust at the beginning of the year trained on processes, and then let go within 3-4 months without justified cause. This practice reflects poorly on the organization’s commitment to employee retention and career development. Additionally, the daily routine includes a demoralizing practice where employees are required to stand and justify their previous day’s work. This further highlights the lack of trust and appreciation within the workplace culture. The HR team’s approach has been disappointing, as they often provide misleading assurances to employees, creating a false sense of job security. This lack of transparency exacerbates the already challenging environment. Overall, this organization is not a suitable choice for professionals seeking stability, respect, or opportunities for growth in their careers. The work culture and management practices need significant improvement to create a more supportive and professional environment.
