Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The only positive thing was my colleagues were good.

Dislikes

Salary never ever on time. No participation of staff in decision making. The head is Very arrogant .U don't even get any single document like joining letter, experience letter & all. U can't raise your voice on anything otherwise u will be thrown out of the job instantly.
