Poor obsolete technologies, superficial evaluation of developers. All eggs in one basket strategy. No recognition for talent and extra work or input.

Likes

All the artist helps each other and you get to learn new software’s, they have a good pipeline and workflow if followed properly will make your life easier at work. There is not much politics here actually they don’t care if you are from the south, north, east or west or if you are black, white or brown all they care about is getting things done from your end.

Dislikes

...ets hired to DNEG in same salary or lower than their current income. I short if you have a good salary package it ‘might’ be a place for you to settle down but only if you play your cards right if you know what I mean.

Working on notable projects and an oscar winning company.

...hours but u can never leave by time and stretch for 4 to 5 extra hours everyday. Very Mediocre compensation for the work done here and mostly appraisals are a mere joke. To make it simple, Prime focus is ruining the name of oscar winning studio within the vfx community by having poor standards when it comes to compensation and taking the employees' time for granted. Most of the employees will move to other studios when they have an opportunity.

The management is rude. They have no humanitarian concern for employees. No respect for employees. Job security is zero. You will always be reminded that your job can be taken away at any point and any day.

My experience with the hr management is worst they don't even bother person is waiting for there response when you call that time hr intimates you about the status of profile second thing this people don't even have proper hiring skills. Interview pannel is worst specifically global one. I don't know on what bases they hire people
