New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

The company provides all support to the employees for their food & accommodation. One will get his salary 5-6 days in advance every month.

Dislikes

The carrier growth is very slow. Work pressure is very high, I start receiving phone calls from morning 7:00AM till evening 9:00PM (from client & other stakeholders) even during the only friday weekends, hence no peace of mind. Management do not value individuals unique strength and hardworking, but solely believe on outsiders gossip & loose talks.

They treat the employees like animal and can remove them whenever they want. This company is run by some egoistic persons who can remove you as per their wish. They have open the organization to ruin the career of a person.

They never follow the working hours duration, even if you're working for above time bound, they never gonna provide overtime wages, because they would mentioned in your contract (offer letter) paper it's fixed wages for staff category. At site level some team leaders are not recognize the subordinate works planning. Experienced Engineers also wants work as a construction supervisor.
