1. Lot of employees with 10+ years of experience and few with 20+ years of experience in Desmet. Working under their guidance will help us avoid lot of mistakes and we get to learn a lot from them. 2. If you like to visit sites then you may get some good opportunities to visit different countries including east Asia, Africa, South America, North America and Europe. 3. No much politics inside the Automation department for sure. It’s peaceful.

...loyees wanting to move out to a better place but got stuck there from years. 2. Salary is in a proportion of 1 to 1.2 with respect to your experience, which is very poor. 3. Poor management of projects and employees will work overtime to achieve the goal. 4. No proper training for new joiners. So you can see people struggling to understand what is happening around. 5. It’s a process oriented company and people don’t get proper training on the process flow. Then creating documents with half knowledge or zero knowledge on process will be a hell job to do and then refer the same documents that we did and develop a program based on it seems funny as it will contain lot of mistakes and blunders. But in total this part of the job makes you feel frustrated and you will loose your chill for sure. You will spend a lot of time and you will not know what to be filled in timesheets. Company has to really work on this. 5. No fun times at all, no team outings, no team lunch or dinner. There will be one 3 hours function in a year where you can drink and dance. 6. Sitting in office feels like you are in a classroom with teacher monitoring you. In total they say that Desmet was too good a few years ago, but now I recommend it as not good for health.
