Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Nothing about this company is likable...the guy who runs this company is a fraud

Dislikes

This company is run by scammers like Kumar K who is the biggest fraudster of today's generation....chants ram ram and fraud innocent students using the name of ram....he charges money from poor students and runs this show. On linkedin he is a hero in his own world but in reality he is a villain. He is a little insects who is poisoning this tech industry by scamming innocent students and using other people's beliefs...this pest needs to be controlled asap
