IJP. In IJP they give just 30% irrespective of their current package. but for same position hired outside they will give market compitative Package . This is pathetic rule HR follows , that’s why people don’t move internally , they go outside . Managers do not stop outgoing employees even if he tells because low package he is moving , they will not normalise salary to his peers , instead they let him go and hire new one with 50% more pay than previous employee. I don’t see what logic is this

...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are limiting they give minimum salary hike and bonus every year.

Salary hike is not a byte one and career growth is slow.

Everything that was good about Dell ended 2 years back. Nothing is good now.

...es more miserable and feel tortured from 5 days a week policy and no promotions. And from what I have heard extremely low or negligible salary hikes. The culture is extremely bad for a long term perspective and would take a toll on your mental health. The work that they make you do is dated and not industry relevant. So don't join dell unless you want to spoil your mental health and career.

The culture and work life balance at Dell is excellent. There are learning opportunities depending on the job role.

Dislikes

Due to constant layoffs the job security isn't there. Also, compensation should be improved.
