Awesome team and compensation benefits are key driving factors for me at Dell. Suggestions and ideas proposed as part of the Innovation Drives and Hackathons are really encouraged and right Recognition is provided for game changers stuff.

Dislikes

Work Pressure is high on people in India. Needless to say the amount of hours you need to work on any given day are usually above 12 hours mostly extending till late night India time. Weekends are also some times busy and not really compensated in the right way later. Overall, work-life balance is at high stake. Digital Transformation is in full swing within the organization at the moment but clearly not every team is equally important and many of them are clearly trying to adopt to the new process and technologies without any direction. Updates at mid level management are not usually frequent and transparent. Compensation and benefits are as per market standards and Recognition in form.of rewards for Hard work is usually done and keeps the motivation for employees to work along aggressively. Overall, I see this as a place to work for few years , grow personally while delivering what the company needs and ask you with utmost quality and then move on unless you are in a position where the ciurve of learning and growing is constantly going up.

I don't see a single point as of now. This used to be best work life balance org, but not anymore.

The Work-Life Balance is becoming very poor day by day with expectations to work late hours and weekends without compensation, is particularly challenging. Compensation and benefits are below industry standards. The immediate management tends to be retaliative and blame-shifting, which creates a challenging and equally toxic atmosphere., The work culture is dying here, is toxic, pressuring employees to overwork. Too many long, unproductive meetings further reduce overall productivity. There are limited opportunities for career growth and advancement. Too much micro management at work by immediate leaders. Too much work over commit to higher management of immediate leader leading to employee dissatisfaction.

I appreciate the friendly atmosphere and the camaraderie among colleagues at Dell. The team dynamic fosters a supportive environment where collaboration thrives. While the company culture may be average, the relationships I've built with my coworkers have made my experience enjoyable. Having friendly colleagues makes the workday more enjoyable and creates a sense of belonging within the team.

I have several concerns about working at Dell. The poor work-life balance, with expectations to work late hours and weekends without compensation, is particularly challenging. Additionally, the management tends to be retaliative and blame-shifting, which creates a punitive atmosphere. The compensation and benefits are below industry standards, with annual merit increases falling short of the inflation rate. The work culture can be toxic, pressuring employees to overwork. Remote workers face an unfriendly culture, often being forced to adopt a hybrid model and treated as second-class employees. Long, unproductive meetings further reduce overall productivity, and there are limited opportunities for career growth and advancement.

The work life balance and the company culture is the best thing about dell.

Salary benefits and appraisals are not at par with other companies in the same domain (product based) which is one reason which might be demotivating.

This is worst place to join. They will advertise worl life balance and hire with low salary comparative to best compan. But they will grind resources like anything. Every year they fire 10% peoples. Tell dell is scam if you submit your genuine review against things you are odd man out. And you will be targeted by then.
