There are immense learning opportunities. Trainings happen regularly and management is supportive if someone opts for a training even for the whole week. Collaboration is good across the teams as well as often company-wide events like hackathons and coding arena happens where you can showcase and groom your skills. You get a premium work-life balance, and you can work on your own terms.

The Company is under huge debt and struggle to provide good benefits and compensation. Even the smallest of the benefits (e.g. Diwali gift) has been taken away, so you can think of what would have happened to the bigger benefits like parental insurance, allowances, etc. The company preaches a lot about its culture, but when it comes to business decisions and strategies, no one is really aware and knows the reason/intention behind it. It's like blindly following the upper management. Though the learning opportunities of new technologies are there, but your daily job would be on age-old technologies and frameworks as the company has failed to upgrade their products and still the majority of them comes under the 'legacy' category. The job security is a big question as well. Unless you are working on a product on which the top management is betting the company's future, you can be laid off anytime. The company also has partnership with other service based companies, and they transfer their own employees (Dell EMC full time employees) to other companies (I am sure you must be shocked after reading this, but trust me many of my colleagues now work on Dell EMC's products but on the payroll of some other service based organization with meager compensation and benefits). For me, the experience in Dell EMC has been good, but I have seen a lot happening which any new joiner or lateral must know before joining the company.

...in a day's work. You will often be forced to do overtime on your weekly offs. Salary hikes are based on factors you cannot control (getting skilled to a call transferring queue where average case handling time is less than 2 minutes, which will lower your overall handling time considerably against that of your teammates snd will give you an edge over them) If you choose to come with office transport, you'll be picked up like livestock and dumped to the office around 1.5 hours before your shift starts(irrespective of the distance), During the covid, when wfh was implemented, teammates were at their most miserable and lowest point, direct result of workload which management didn't help ease if not add to it to say the least. Most of these issues could've been sorted but the focus was never on making the technical support more productive, efficient and easy going, rather the technical support teams were blamed for the problematic products and issues caused by them.

I am currently working in DellEmc. Job security is terrible lot of people want to save there job and try to make others look bad and ultimately you have to quit job. People are hired for latest technology and asked to work on something they are not skilled at. If are joining this company be prepared to change anytime after one year

There is nothing to like at all, immediate leaders don't possess software development knowledge and are too much into politics. Too much micromanagement.

No recognition, no compensation hike, no appreciation, too much work pressure, leaders are worst, and too much tracking and micro-managements. Not worth joining the company. All day works and standups including weekends. There is too much pressure at work and there are always very strict and tight deadlines. Zero work-life balance. Downwards learning curve. Managers will force you to work on weekends as well.
