I have been working in Daxko since 2024 and my overall experience has been amazing till now. With nearly a decade in corporate world, I feel well qualified to assess the work environment at Daxko India. I appriciate the supportive management which encourages initiatives and growth without doing micro management. The recent launch of Udemy learning platform for all our employees showcases Daxko comitment to continouls learning and growth. Work flexibility is excellent and employees gets rooms to explore new things. From the day i have joined its been almost 11 months and I have not seen any downside of it. Good going Daxko.

No Growth, Only Decline: Recently, the CPO mentioned that all PMs in India would be demoted to POs. This pretty much sums up the company’s approach to career progression. i.e there isn’t any. Hiring & Firing Without Thought: They hire people without properly assessing whether there’s an actual need. Then, within months, they fire them, claiming the skills aren’t required. Just recently, more than 10 people were let go—many of whom were hired only a few months back. No Real Learning Opportunities: There’s no scope for growth, upskilling, or meaningful learning. Weak Talent Pool: Even Senior Engineer level 2 take no ownership of their work and don’t engage in any high-level discussions. The work culture at Daxko has made them so complacent that they struggle to find jobs elsewhere. Even freshers out of college are better coders than SE level 2 here. Nepotism at Its Peak: Around 10% of the workforce is made up of the site head’s relatives—his whole family seems to be working here. If you're expecting a fair and merit-based workplace, this is not it. Join Only If You Don't Care About Your Career: If you don’t value career growth, learning, or progression and are okay with stagnating, then this might be the place for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

Rewarding environment. People working here are really good. Less politics. Good tech talks. Always encourage innovation but sadly SLTs don’t want to work on new technologies.

Working on old tech stack. Calling 10 years old technology as next gen. All engineering decisions are made from Product Team, who wants to make work with less developers, without knowing any repercussions. Biased nature for US and Indian employees. No WFH for Indian employees zero flexibility for them. Biased appraisal.

Work-life balance is decent—mainly because there’s very little real work.

Dislikes

If you're in product or development, this is not the place to build your career. Leadership has made it clear that India will have no real ownership—just execution roles with no say in anything. Leadership has made it crystal clear that all PMs in India will be demoted to POs, hence, demotion for everybody. Developers and product teams have no meaningful work—just filling in tickets and following orders. Nepotism is at its peak—at least 10% of the workforce is directly related to the site head. Promotions and job security seem to depend more on personal connections than actual talent. The attrition rate is extremely high—most capable people are leaving as soon as they get an opportunity. 10 people were recently fired, and leadership shows no signs of improving the situation. Coming here will hurt your future job prospects—you’ll lose critical skills required in a product based company and real-world problem-solving. Many who leave struggle to find strong roles elsewhere. Most positive reviews are Fake. HR actively pushes the marketing team to post them to boost the company’s image. If you’re in product or development and care about career growth, stay far away. This place will stagnate your skills, limit your future options, and may even put your job at risk. Do not waste your time here.

The work environment in the company has become really bad over the past year. All the blame goes to the new HR manager, Rozi Singh, who became the HR director in just 5-6 months. She is never visible, never communicates with anyone, and her attitude is unbearable. She lacks basic communication skills and doesn't know how to give a presentation. The director is her relative, and both of them spend their entire day gossiping in the same cabin. Neither of the directors gives off the proper "director" vibe. Their communication skills are extremely weak, and they have no product knowledge. They just speak without any clear points. During appraisals, employees aren't even allowed to speak. The directors make comments without any understanding. The Year in Review awards are biased. Before last year, everything was going great, but they, together, have ruined everything. There's a constant negative energy throughout the entire floor. I don't know what the senior leaders saw when hiring them. Hopefully, they will correct their mistakes.
