New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Absolutely nothing. Everything is utterly horrible. To top it off - illiterate management and directors

The training is the best part, I got to know about SEO content creation, how to do research, how to find keywords for the content and much more! I am happy that I got to know about how to write for the BFSI and it actually helped me to shape my career, thanks to the editors who took care of us and helped us to learn by providing their support. The work culture is decent, they also compensate the writers based on the performance. I think the management really takes care of the employees by organizing different events.

... very short period, due to my family relocation, had to move but the experience. I got from the company was truly something appreciable as they didn't deduct any salary from my basic despite not achieving my target as I was not able to focus due to personal problems.

They have hybrid system of work, which is a good thing. Also, the leave policy seems fair and transparent.

...people hold high positions and can be create difficulties even for good writers. The backlogs and salary deductions are of serious concern, and so are promotions and appraisals.
