Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

... self interest and exploits the employees. there is no HR for employees benefit. The salaries are withheld or not paid on time. The employees are made to work for more than 18 hours and for almost 7 days a week. If you request for leaves you are treated like a criminal. Even for sick leaves you have to beg. No compensation off for working on holidays. No travel allowance for business related trips. Worst place to get employed.
