There are lots of things to enhance your technical knowledge. Workers and supervisors are supportive. If you have a spark to learn about gearboxes then you can become expert in Gearbox.
Upper management is worst. They have fear regarding to their position. And to keep their position safe they can do worst politics. They don't teach you any of technical things even after asking; as they don't want you become a knowledgeable person. If you are trying to make change in working by using different tools and techniques like lean manufacturing to get more output then the management and supervisors don't support you. rather than upper management start doing politics. Another thing is the wrong people sit on a chair. There should be an Engineer on a seat of manager level post but fact is that person who don't know about 5s, kaizen, lean six Sigma,FMEA, MRP, Scheduling, Capacity planning etc is holding seat of manager. Management and managers are responsible for the current situation of the company. Even PPC Engineer have to travel for HT material collection. No ESIC, Lower salaries. So if you are fresher and want to know about machines then only join this company.
