Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Ample opportunities to explore, experiment and grow. 1. A place for continuous learning, exploration and rapid experimentation 2. You are surrounded by individuals with intense energy, motivation and care for you 3. Most importantly, you can see the impact you are making every day towards the nation 4. Immense opportunities and growth than you could visualize 5. Degrees doesn't matter to join here. 6. Flat hierarchy and no politics.

Dislikes

It's not that I dislike, but few cons that may not suit for certain people. 1. Not having self-discipline can cause challenges in maintaining the balanced life 2. If you are a person who feels work and enjoyment as separate things, this is not a place for you. 3. You need to be flexible to take up any task as it comes 4. If you can't resonate with the vision and culture of the organisation, you may not make the best out of this place.
