I worked in the frontend team so my review is for frontend devs. Company stable in may ways, salaries are decent. If you are in the FE team and the team lead I had is still leading Frontend side of things then close your eyes and just offer your self to his ways of development. There is friction initially but you will turn out to be a much better developer. As long as I was here, clean code is the emphasis here especially for new joiners and you learn writing scalable code for frontend here. Crowdstaffing is amazing for folks with js backgrounds be it node or react, you will be lead by the same guy. For folks that are from a QA background or from ROR (Ruby on Rails) background, read the dislike section, but a tldr would be please don't join the team for various reasons listed below.

Dislikes

The company policies can be a bit frustrating. As of today i.e Jan 18, 2022, Crowdstaffing is not officially registered in India. This can be an issue when we are trying to get loans or something. Also the reimbursement is not stream lined. The appraisal process is very slow. You may get seriously good appraisals if you come from terrible companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra or Infosys but there will be delay when it comes to running that process. All in all if I were to sum it up, they are having growing pains in terms of policy and other managemental things because a year and a half ago they were a small start up and most of their dev work was done by contractors. They still have not figured it out completely to become a properly set company. On the other hand when it comes to other dev teams, if you are joining for ruby on rails or as a qa, I would recommend you not to join here because the life for those teams isn't really good because their leads are still not proper leads(managers) and are still programmers and can make your day to day a little annoying especially when you are starting out here. They are known to be grilling, short tempered and dominating. I am speaking this out freely because I do not belong to those teams but have worked closely with devs that belong to those teams. The dissatisfaction was quite evident. They live in constant fear and never speak up because of the nature of their leads. Rest I think the management should have standardised workflows and more collaboration between UI/UX designers and devs.
