Lots of companies, lots of people that normally would be competitive with you, now helping one another.

Dislikes

The upper management tries to get as much as they can out of you. They keep your salaries low because the magical "Bonus" formula where your "base salary" is a primary metric for your performance bonus amount. They force you to take your bonus in stock (75%), which is vested, so you won't see it for 4 or 5 years. People are disposable, and the big boss at the division I worked for was extremely toxic, solely focused on power and control. He talked a good game, but his behaviors were in direct conflict with his words. They lie to your face and then gaslight you when you pushback. No idea what the point ever is. Please challenge us, tell us what you think.. right, until you open your mouth and just get dumped on more than not. They manipulate legal and tax frameworks and get pulled up on it, (corporate pays the fines, pays the legal costs, so there is no reason for them to behave), believing they are untouchable because the company is worth 90 billion dollars (market cap). However, being acquired (which is the whole model for CSU) is the absolute worst thing that could happen to your company, staff, customers (because the first thing they will do is raise prices between 15 and 20% or more. I have seen this hundreds of times, where they hire staff, tell them what they want to hear and then try and control them as long as possible until they find another job. It ended up being one of the absolute worst companies I have ever worked with or for. One of the worst decisions you could make for your future is joining a business under their control.
