...er, no job security, no hikes, no growth. 10 hrs mandatory working hour per day. Ratings change from 4 to 5 slabs to make sure 50% of the company gets less than 75% of the variable pay. Attrition is all time high. CEO openly says in Q meet that he doesn't want old timers. No more respect for loyalty. Onsite opportunity also trimmed as top management is looking for local hires in onsite than sending people from India.

As working here is quite good when your manager is cooperative. Though In previous two years work and manager both was good no complaints for them and i worked from home till now and everyone was cool.

Dislikes

Now during current project my so called manager is psycho. Here in cognizant manager also do coding but he is like only I have to do everything and he just wants credit for it. Even to other squads he is like only he is doing work. He oftenly insulted me and two other team mates. I talked with my home manager but no benefit. Only you have to suffer in that scenario.

Despite the fact that cognizant is not directly involved, the management team is the worst because I had a bad rating once and spoke with my HR about it. She said that it was illogical to claim to be able to speak Hindi, and they do not care about employees. While some employees are excellent, favoritism is a non-issue in the Kolkata office. I will not receive any better senior support that would help me start from scratch.

...a result, you will be highly appreciated with a very bad rating and feedback. 5. salary is very low and there is no hike or promotion if you are not favourite candidate of your manager

You'll go school everyday and work for 10hr but your salary will credited for 9hr, high level of micromanagement, you are notified supposed to take leave irrespective of any scenario (Parental leave or even your own family died) they'll convince you to take leave for 2-5days only. Everyday there will be special warning session with management for 1 hrs with whole floor (e.g, if you are not meeting up the target you'll be sacked, etc etc)
