Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Horrible n worst experience with the interview. The head hr is unfit for the role. He doesn't have basic knowledge about the questions to be asked in an interview. The management is very abusive & they doesn't know how to respect the Candidates. THINK TWICE BEFORE JOINING:)

The Company has a diversity, loyal, young and old employees. The innovative work rules permit flexi-timings, and adequate time for both work and family . Being in HR myself, I am well aware of the high standards of ethical practices being followed by the company. Even during the COVID to till date company is doing really good and has taken precautionary measures on high priority. Our Company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest Technology.
