Politics is rampant when it comes to promotion. They get you in with high salary later they almost give no hikes. Only decent hikes when promoted. That too is decided/handpicked on whims of senior management. Your rating have no positive impact but your rating is tool used to communicate negative impact.

...rtical are so supportive and humble. Work culture is unique as friendly to grow. Appraisal are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus everyear. Balanced work and family life. Company policies are transperant.

...ecurity. They will remove them after a few days or they will push you to resign. Layoff affected a lot of employees in India and no one talked anything about this Part of the cost-cutting they targeted directors to the above level but when it comes to India all the MDs and directors protected each other and removed C05 to C11 employees from Citi.
