Hardly any work life balance, all you are supposed to complete your targets which are very much unrealistic to be completed within your 8 hours shifts, almost everyone end up working 10+ hours a day to get the work done. No one cares if you are feeling okay or not, every person just wants the work done nothing else. And the leaves are not compensated if unused, and if asked for you will be given several reason to why you cannot take leaves. Leaves are plenty but hardly they get approved. If you are an amazonian please rethink before leaving Amazon and joining Citi. Really hectic work culture. You are supposed to make no mistake, one mistake and you will be made to feel like you have done a crime. Mistakes are not accepted, this makes it tough to take decisions on your own. Overall not a good experience. Hope one day something changes and there's a room for learning and growth.

...t appears that a form of favoritism is prevalent, with certain employees receiving more support than others, regardless of their work ethic. Like many organizations, internal politics can be an issue. On the positive side, employees enjoy substantial leave benefits and best payscale comparing peer companies

The Work Life balance is poor. Lately citi is undergoing a major restructuring. This led to huge layoffs. Even if you Work like hell it is not worth it. There are no opportunity to learn something new and switch teams. Bcz there are no jobs at all. Don't go for the initial good package. Life is stressful Lately hikes are also not very good

Can't say about other departments but in my team there was nothing to like

...ect a basic level of respect and work life balance at work place then stay away. They even expect you to work on public holidays but wouldn't care to pay you or grant compensatory leave for that. Seniors are more interested in bossing around rather than execution of real job. The work culture is extremely toxic to say the least. People who are working here are either finding opportunities to leave or so frustrated that they have no hope left.
