Pay is average, other than that from culture to work to tech everything has gone way bad.

from last 2 year there is lots of politics overall citi uses very old tech. If you wanna bring anything new there are lots of obstacles and politics. Promotion halted, layoff happening. We have senior developers who can't open vim or work with basic python. So overall everything from work to culture to tech to the job satisfaction is going downhill very fast. As soon as market opens, attrition rate would be really high and the good employers would be first to leave.

As a developer, you can fix any technical issue but for the business flow you need their help, this is where they are least interested to provide any kt but will expect you to know every business flow!!!!!
