Earlier everything was good but since 2024 all policies got changed .I don’t suggest anyone to join such shit organisation

...projects and employee face uncertainty after being released from one assignment.when employee seek internal opportunities, managers in other BU inquire about their salary package and often respond that they don’t budget for it .This raises a question -if budget constraints vary from project to project why aren’t candidates informed about this during the hr discussions?Transparency during hiring would help employees make informed career decisions rather than facing sudden layoffs. why they are not allowing candidates to learn new technologies if new assignment requires it but they are not giving chance . Why 3 rounds interviews when employee looking for other project internally.

1. Work life balance 2. Projects are interesting and good to work, if you are in development role. 3. Skill growth is good.

Dislikes

1. Salary is low if compared to work you will be doing. 2. Teams are usually quite helpful but not very competitive. This sometimes breaks your growth graph.

Likes

Depends upon project and business unit. For me , here in DataCycle360 and Wealth360, work is excellent means, you will get more and more work if you are able to do quickly so, learning opportunity is excellent, technologies is also decent as per industry, but if i think independently and don't compare with other company then carriers growth (salary) in terms of appraisal is not good.

Dislikes

Appraisal, salary growth within CGI, Hybrid mode of working, WFO, In terms of quality and quantities work delivered - More work is there based on current 9LPA CTC of promoted SSE atleast for me, by comparing with external hired SSE which takes 19LPA. So, Switching to other company is good rather than getting Promoted within CGI.

Definately a great place to work if you are less ambitious about financial growth. Almost zero micro management. Perfect place for experienced people to get settled or for longer run.

Dislikes

Not at all recommended for freshers. Very less salary hike and confusing apraisal cycle. Unnecessary hierarchy and complex organisation structure. Full off useless managers only drawing huge amount of salary just by talking in calls 2-3 hours everyday. IJP & internal trainings are all showoff. No use at all.
