... The work culture is from good to excellent depending upon the place of posting. The salary package is very good. Mostly the Jobs are in the warehouses where the work is to be done beyond office hours. One has to do every type of work without considering his job profile. The job security is 100%.

The training, job security, salary, appraisal, learning etc is excellent. Earlier the career growth was not good. I am extremely sorry to mention that I spent 34 yrs of my golden age serving the company starting in the yr 1982 but I got my first promotion to upper scale in the year 1996 i.e.after 14 years. Second in2002& 3rd in Feb 2015. However some sort of improvement is seen, still it is a long way to get the best. Organisation is excellent but one thing is most unfortunate that the senior executive officer of the company has a very narrow approach , narrow thinking, cunningness towards their colleagues which stillneeds much more time to create fairly environment. May God bless.

It became good pay-master in in 1988.Though, its pension scheme, through LIC and as per Govt.'s guidelines, was a poor contribution. The overall working was, generally good.I worked here for more than 37 years before retiring in June 2014.
