It's a government organisation so all things are as per govt rules.But here people are technically corrupt and no ethics.Unhealthy work environment.People gets mentally retarded.Growth hampers in this institution

Dislikes

People on the name of technology development get the things done from outside and potray it as a indigenous technology. E- tractor is a an fake technology claimed to be developed by CMERI which is completely false.Not worth for scientific vigour. All technically corrupt people work here.

Likes

It has always been pleasure to working at CSIR-CMERI. Here, it is always time of every work and so many analytical instruments present. Always benefit to the workshop happened in the lab.

Dislikes

Canteen snacks time should be more. The cost of different characterization instruments is very high. It should be within reasonable because outside people also access their work.

Likes

There is a high chance to develop the technical skill by availing the infrastructure and amenities. Apart from that the campus life is quite healthy and nature friendly.

Dislikes

Though I am a work freek guy yet sometimes i felt boaring and exhausted due to poor work life balance. Apart from that, the Institute's account department is quite unorganized and due to which casual staff or contractual staff like me get suffered very often for not getting stipend time to time.

Likes

Though the all of the parameters depends on the individual lab and respective guide, yet the lab accommodation give you a exposure on R&D segment. I warked under Dr. Santu Kumar Giri, Senior Principle Scientist, EM & TR group. He is a knowledgeable and a good person. Always inspire you to do something new rather than copy the existing technology.

Dislikes

Apart from the Lab environment, the BILL and ACCOUNT department don't work on the time hence the stipend of the project fellows gets delayed to credit in the Bank. Ther staffs are so careless about your payment. In some cases, your important documents may manhandled by them..
