The day I found out my colleague earns 30% more for the same role
It was an accidental slip. A teammate mentioned her CTC while we were chatting casually. Same designation, same team, joined after me but her salary was almost 30% more. My stomach dropped. I spent days debating whether to bring it up. I didn’t want to come off as insecure or difficult. But I also couldn’t un-know what I knew. Eventually, I had an honest, data-backed conversation with my manager. Turns out, I was right and they revised my pay. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me this: silence doesn’t protect you. Companies run on numbers. If you don’t negotiate, you leave money on the table. Have you ever been in a similar spot? How did you navigate it?

Food and snacks will be there. (For hostlers its good).

Dislikes

1. No timely salary (Don't pay salaries on 30th they paid on 1st because you are working for US). In March everyone got salaries on 28th but we got on 2nd April. 2.Full cost cutting going on. (Cab cut with minimal allowance, forcefully work from home so that they can save food and cab and power if any power cut issues your mgr yell at you to come to office on sudden) 3. Works allocated based on points (Min 110 to ...) If you don't take or handle that much properties you are one step away to lose job. If you got multiple escalations you need to leave immediately (no job security). 4. It has multiple month ends (like 30th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th cutoff) so they don't want you to free any one day they will allocate properties like that you can't take any one holiday peacefully and every day you need to work like a month end. 5. Managers don't have much work because whatever they review will be reviewed by us team. So they took light but if you receive any comments or escalations they will yell at you. These people are really pathetic. They don't even think about employees work pressure if any thing client or their higher managers says they will literally followup on that work like a hell. 5. Lot more i don't want to frustrate myself while typing..

Working at client location is not good, as you don't feel worth working there, treated as vendor and not as a direct. CBRE is a good company to work for but then work directly in CBRE office yo get all the benefits and you may see your growth, being at client location no scope for growth. Working at client location will make you feel neither you are CBRE nor the client.

Management don’t trust CBRE employees potential of work rather they trust clients comments of the particular employee, if client say some employee don't want in-the project they will shift the employee to the other project rather trusting there employee work potential
