Never be smarter than your boss and peers! They will get rid of you in no time. CEO noted me and I have a letter of personal appraisal from him. But I'm fired! I served my stakeholders well and I have letters of support and appreciation. But I'm fired! I made my team happy and on the day of my termination everyone said how happy they were with me! Yes, politics and everyone try to save themselves and their friends and those who are not in the group are in trouble. Unfortunately our manager was not different. He always thought his job is not safe, thus he has find way to keep him safe. And some managers in position are not well qualified for the position.
