Fraud written all over this company- 1st- The owner Varun Chandra, he removed me from my employment without giving my 2 months salary. I had to serve him 2 legal notices to get my money, of which he only paid half. He is a very shameful person. Also he has not paid Taxes that he deducted for my employment which is a fraud crime in itself. He ate all of that money and does not reply to any of my mail. I was left with no option but to file an FIR of fraud against him. 2nd- do not be shocked if you see him in court and Jail. He is a fraud and a criminal. 3rd- does not how to run a business. in fact he does not have a business or any product. He works full time in woodland and this is his side gig, where all the work is looked after by an intern called Satyam. Since last 1.5 years or more he is working on this project and 3 different designer that i know of has worked on it. Still the product is not completed. 4th- he leaves his work on the shoulder of an intern (Satyam), as a designer your reporting will be to him, just imagine explaining the difference between UI/UX to him and then later he will be giving you orders on what needs to be done. Developers are the one who decides the design here, so you are no where near to put your creativity into it. There is no management. One day they will fix the design and after 2 months they will review it again and you have to redo it from scratch. hence there product never gets ready. 5th- Most importantly this place will suffocate you. Even if you are in this for money, you are not going to get it, there are monthly delays in getting salary, no salary slip, above all Varun Chandra will eat your salary. I was working even in the evening till 11pm as there is another intern (Swarna) whom they hired from Woodland, which woodland is not aware of. I was juggling the work with her in the evening even after office timing, she is also working two jobs. Varun has habit of taking employees of woodland for his own work. BTW she had no knowledge of UI/UX. Imagine teaching another person the work after your long day. Also he is always in 2 minds about his employees, wether to keep them or not and runs this politics through everyone. Beware of such companies and CEO, even if you are at your lowest DO NOT WORK HERE.
