.... 2. I didn't find that fire in workplace, that grind, that hustle was missing. It made me fear that this team is not going to make me reach from my current package to 20-30x my package while I retire.

I can lead problem statements. Work several things, work more on what I like more to do.

Dislikes

More agressive and growth mindset in all employees is missing. Only founders and a few people think like the same.

Opportunity to work with less-aged but smart and genuine people, no politics, and everyone tries to help in a positive manner, including founders. Management is accessible. HR and team seniors are positive with a solid willingness to hear me and help. The very important thing that I liked is here all employees put together to decide the fortune of the employees, almost 75% of the time. A classic example was employees demanding a working day to be off every week. It happens to be Saturday. In the company, they have 4 to 5 policies for people who don't need training or can lead by themselves mostly, work for 5 days a week, a few people work 3 to 4 days a week, and a few people work for 6 days a week. I come in a set of people who are 6 days a week. This 6day team includes juniors, non-performers, and new people who will need more training, more hands-holding, more support, and more time with this new family, to get to a point where you can handle work, and just complete promised hours a week in 5 days of quality productivity, is fine. This 6-day week team has everyone who knows beforehand before joining the company and signing the contract or terms. Even though we were in contract, we spoke about let's try a 5-day week, and our seniors took it to management. Management, on the very same day, tasked all seniors to form a team, work an hour daily, and in 2 weeks come up with an action plan ensuring if this is implemented, how such a team can still ensure clients are happy, and pendency of work is not there. The team went to management with a few pointers for an action plan, and management approved it without any hesitation, and from the very next months, things started falling down. More customer complaints, more incomplete projects, more written complaints, and this was all because sometimes, some people or some teams are not ready to adapt to 5day work week, and they really in need of that extra space to work, and yet company kept observing for about 6months. Since I too work with office where founders sits a few days, I could sense that what could have been stress for those set of top managers reporting to founding people, and the founder, a team never heard more than 1 to 2 complains a year, is listening noise every second day, things went south. Despite of severe notices by management, team was not able to copeup in 5day work week, only reason was this is a junior team and they do have seniors but still the mix is not perfect. Company had to turn it back to 6day work week for the particular team, and best part is company didn't take any action on anyone from this team, and yet such founders have the same cup of tea/coffee with everyone without a sign of discomfort in their face, speech, etc.

I have personally complained to management about this fact that there are several people in the company who loves to take all benefits or demand every best from company, and as per my personal opinion company is doing its best, but a few people always have a small complain always, but when comes to dedication, performance, at least discipline like not misusing company's asset, people (not all) are never bothered about. Despite of my complains, and complains by other colleagues too, management tries to give lastchance to such people , last chance every time, instead of just removing them. In a small team, to become big, its very much necessary that every one is Ms Dhoni, or thinks and ready to die for the mission, one rotten tomato spoiling other unrottens.

Instead of 2 Saturdays a month, it would be great if we could have a week off on all 4 Saturdays.
