... back to India on 21st Mar'2020 because they were going to close the restaurant. So we close the restaurant and next day we fly to India and company gave us 40 days salary advance. what happened next they have send Email regarding update of opening restaurant. In that email we got massage that BK store is not opening now and next update you will get in August'20 and today 30 sep'20 we didn't get anything till now. All I am saying that as per Company Employer they should know how's their Team is doing in that Pandemic without getting salary from May'20. I am living on my savings till now because I am still the employee of this company. What will say ?

Burger King is a very big QSR brand. There is no problem in terms of work in Burger King, the only problem is in the payment. The employee who is promoted internally is paid less and the one who joins from outside is paid more. They make you work overtime but do not pay for it.

The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me.
