New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

They will pay you good salary.But they can remove any time without notice if they don't need you or they got someone with less salary.

Dislikes

No training to the fresher . There is nothing like as a management in this company. Don't choose this company . They don't train you . There is nothing like you growth in your future . Management is too week. When I join this company I feel like call centre company.

To be honest, It's my second company where I was working as Project Engineer Interne. Work Environment and Culture is very good. Teammates are quite supportive.

Dislikes

... are not properly organized. Roles and responsibilities are not fixed to anyone. Salary is quite less for freshers also for some of experienced one.

Just some of the employees.

Dislikes

The management is shit, they'll make you wait 1-2 hrs after hours just because the boss is having a meeting with a client. Will make you work on things which don't come under your work title (eg. Inventory, and dispatch, even cleaning the office inventory).
