Compensation-wise it is as par with other IT infra based solution providers however expect average increment levels per year. Good job security in general but internal movement to projects is only through IJPs which is a streamlined process in itself. Ample WFH opportunities based on project requirements and all India centres have to be aligned with UK shifts.

Dislikes

(1) BT internal tools and system are outdated and needs overhaul. (2) BT internal processes are sometimes hard to navigate. "By-the-book" approach in hinderance in many instances. (3) Internal politics while project movements through IJPs or promotions as is the case with many large orgs. (4) Minimal support for paid trainings or certifications. No relocation support, ESOP or joining bonus etc (5) "Escalation" is often a way to get timely support from internal/cross-functional teams

BT is a great Place to work for people looking for work culture, job security and great environment.

Dislikes

BT is not a good salary giver, salaries are average. Growth opportunities are many but only talent and expertise won’t get you growth because the management decides in advance that who will be awarded IJPs. If you’re nit the most favourite, you ain't moving anywhere.

Everything is good. Work culture is fantastic. Both side cab facility without any contribution from employee.

Dislikes

Salary is less compared to market. No growth with tenurity. If we want to take promotion then we will have to given exam and interview again and the most surprising thing is that you need to compete with newbies who are only 1 year old in the organization.

Work life balance is good. The company provides good amount of leaves where we can manage our work as well as our personal life.

Dislikes

The only thing is that very less salary no hike if you join BT as experienced also, there is discrimination amongst the employees who work their. This feedback must be taken into consideration. Overall, good company to work with

Work culture inside the floor is terrible. People shout at each other from across the floor. They need to learn a thing or two from Wipro on being employee centric.
