I just resigned from BT after 7yrs and I can say its my best 7yrs in my career.

Dislikes

...you want a secured job, with good work-life balance then BT is the best company. But you may need to compromise on the yearly salary hike. BT has the best car lease policy in the industry. Learning is ok ok atleast with regards to network design team, not sure about other domains.

...ore exposure to new technology and thus have growth opportunity and some less. Pay is okay. Culture is good.

Scope to improve the management team and BT support towards their employee during co-vid

BT has a great work life balance and work environment. Well led and managed pay. Equal opportunities employer.

Dislikes

BT is not a good suggestion for initial stage of career. For some projects learning part is less.

Likes

Lot of learning and development as an individual. They offer good package and other benefits which is high as compared to indian market.

Dislikes

No onsite opportunity. Shift allowance is low and no food facility during out of hours shift particularly for 24×7.

No job security. All of a sudden you may receive email for lay offs. No salary hike No promotion if you are not going for a drink with senior managers or if you are not having any kind of relationships with senior managers. Toxic work culture specially in GBA and GCB. The team managers will humiliate you in front of everyone and operations manager will be an audience. They know how to force people to put their papers.
