I just resigned from BT after 7yrs and I can say its my best 7yrs in my career.

Dislikes

...you want a secured job, with good work-life balance then BT is the best company. But you may need to compromise on the yearly salary hike. BT has the best car lease policy in the industry. Learning is ok ok atleast with regards to network design team, not sure about other domains.

Job stability, but that too is a question nowadays

Dislikes

... FRCS doctor to act as a nurse if possible. No promotions for skilled employees. They will only increase your bonus and would not give it to you next year, with nonsensical logic. Leads to just an ineffective higer CTC and hence less chance to get yourself out.

Likes

...ore exposure to new technology and thus have growth opportunity and some less. Pay is okay. Culture is good.

Scope to improve the management team and BT support towards their employee during co-vid

A very good company with a best work life balance. Gives you full job security and learning space to drive you career. I joined as fresher and worked for 3.2 years, and was given full access and initiative to learn and develop my skills. This although depends on the project as well as manager.

Dislikes

Some projects don't have that much learning, moreover the annual bonus is a part of your salary only , which ideally should never be.

Likes

The work life balance was great. The good thing is they are concerned about people's communication and growth, but yeah they should increase the number of workshops and training's.

Dislikes

Management always tend to dissatisfy the employees because of there cost cutting. They should increase team outings and also break the chain of monopoly while promoting people.
