Salary gap between grades is very obvious, growth in grade is difficult.

Working with BAT was First and the worst Experience I had in my 15 years of work life, they have chucked me out of my job without proper justification, even we had many openings left still they give some stupid reason and say I didn’t get selected. even now I see the position I came out is still available and BAT is still trying to hire someone for that position (while we all are available), Moreover as an Expat it is very risky to work in an company like BAT, I don’t really say it’s company issue rather the Manager’s and others.

Dislikes

Head count reduction by stating some stupid reasons, very very disappointed, since I have asked for an justification from my boss’s boss which he failed to answer me clearly, however Gods grace I got another Job and am doing good now.

Team spirit is on high side among members and communication flowing to some extent from management to non management staff.

People are not promote on fair grounds and recognition is not adequately compensated

Time to time we got training about New brand, work environment is good so far, no political investment in bat, salary is fine when you compere with other companies with same position, job security is wonderful because all employees are permanent and got all benefits.

Slim chances to become promoted because we are many of us looking for same position.

Work pressure is very high sometimes, working day and night sheft, very strict working environment thins to do with safety.
