New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. The worst work culture and seniors i have ever met in my life so arrogant seniors not knowing the way how to talk with juniors with no ppe kit available working in dust area without any mask,gloves and goggles.As well as working on heat area without any heat jacket provided by company.

Bravo Sponge Iron is good for who has lots of experience. It is not suitable for fresher or below 4years experienced person. Job security is quite good. Work load is also comfortable. Salary of Fresher or below 4/5 years experience is not so good. Increment is very less than other steel plant. Other benefits like room, food, bus facilities are not so bad. It is a growing steel plant so it is not the time (july,2022) from where I can say Bravo Sponge Iron Pvt Ltd (BSIPL) is a good or bad plant. Only one thing I can say that few uneducated and hopeless GM and Manager you can find here. HR Department & President are good human being.
