BSF is one of the largest border guarding forces in the world. One gets exposure in many fields as there are options to go in deputation. We get opportunity to visit new places during our service period. Duties, rules & restrictions are transperent. Coys are given job training regularly to maintain professional knowledge of troops. Physical fitness, medical and Wpn tests are also given to know individuals capability. Over all a very responsible job.

...ity force is India's first line of defence. It's under control of home ministry. This is permanent job with good salary , bonus etc.

Dislikes

Lack of family life and difficult environment condition.

I am giving my best and satisfied. But postings in extreme hard area is painful in age of 52 years which is ignored by seniors. Rest all is fine.

Salary is satisfaction is there but career growth is very low.

.... Another plus point is that I learned team work, man management and leadership. Salary is also good.

Compensation is good but life is very stressful. Job location in backwards area, their is no any school and hospital. Life is always in Risk.

Good work environment and culture. Company policies are good,appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

There is a lot of politics and the management doesnt address our issues salary is decent but career growth is slow .
