Working here was a nightmare! The owner seems to have no idea of how to run a company. Employees are treated as disposable and are often fired within 2-3 months of joining if they fail to meet their unrealistic targets. There is no job security. The company lacks solid HR policies and more than 100 employees were fired in a calendar year for the same reason. No one should have to endure this kind of environment. In my 12 years of experience, this has undoubtedly been the worst. The pressure to make sales is unbearable. I would like to warn everyone about this company, no matter how bad your situation, do not join this company. A lesson learn the hard way. Always research a company thoroughly before joining such toxic workplaces.

BoConcept as a brand is a great brand with impressive products with international design standards & quality. The quality that they deliver is unmatchable & they’re known for it.

Dislikes

The Indian franchisee is owned and operated by an individual who sets the rules & regulations for the employees. You can not expect work ethics or benefits with this company. The owner treats his employees like a slave. He will pass demeaning comments on you if you do not perform. That said, the store attracts very few walk-in clients because, the Chennai store is not equipped fully for the customers. Overall, they will expect you to convert sales without any kind of additional support and mock you personally if you do not achieve their unrealistic target figures per month. Once you achieve a month’s target is when you will be confirmed till then you’ll hang in the air without any benefits per se.
