New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Not any that I can think of. Terrible Experience.

Dislikes

1. Every one is a Manger and even they don't have Mangerial skills. 2. No exposure of carrier Growth, underpaid employees. 3. Total 12 holiday (not indian) 4.Create lots of pressure to a team regarding time log, too much task, time boundation and many things. 5.Only some employees are work and all so called managers are taking credits. 6.Politics are the main piller of this company because everyone is a manager. No culture of real push back - people succeed by being the "yes-man"

It was a terrible experience. The favouritism is at its peak.

Dislikes

A lot of favouritism. No work motivation. Terrible leads. The IT head is biased and have poor judgement. He takes everything on his ego. Gender biasdness also exits. Female employees are under paid and not listened to. In the night shift female employees don’t get cab facility.
