...f an appointment letter made the terms of employment unclear and unprofessional. Thirdly, there was no salary increment despite dedicated efforts. Moreover, there was evident salary inequality among employees. Additionally, upon leaving, there was no provision for an experience letter, hindering future opportunities. Furthermore, the firm misled candidates during interviews, particularly regarding projects like Trust audits, and failed to fulfill promises made. The management's focus solely on in-time arrivals, disregarding employees' work-life balance, was disappointing. Despite a commendable office staff, the boss's attitude was intolerable, displaying unprofessional behavior. Overall, my time at this CA Firm was marred by systematic issues and a toxic work environment.

Likes

The work culture is very methodical and the learning curve is amazing. The Partners in the firm have long years of experinece and are also regular speakers in seminars in various forums, leading to lots of varied work. As required in a professional firm the paper work is very methodical and there are department heads for each vertical. Further the firm is very liberal in the work from home option, specially during health issues.

Dislikes

Due to deadline of filings, the work life balance does get affected during filing season.

Likes

Admin department is good. All office colleagues are supportive. At the time of deadlines all staff work as a team. The supportive working environment encourage professional growth. Boss is always supportive in all good and bad times.

There is no retirement benefit.

Experience wise you'll never grow, boss is very much concerned about entry time but when it's time to leave he comes up with such work that you will have to work for more 2 hours (even more !). Overall ridiculous.
